Sam C. Gonzales has over 40 years of local and federal law enforcement experience.  His qualifications include over 28 years with the Dallas Police Department; six years as Chief, Oklahoma City Police Department (where he oversaw the city's law enforcement recovery and restoration efforts after the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in April, 1995); and six years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  His experience ranges from articulating first-responder requirements for planning, training, and equipment to providing technical assistance and liaison throughout the nation's law enforcement community.  Chief Gonzales holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Abilene Christian College and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the Senior Management Institute, and the National Executive Institute.
